In Her Words:

What do you consider most valuable about your time at La Muse?

So many things. I could say learning to tell time by the church bells that rang, blissful french solitude and the $3 Rose. But really it was the greatest muse of all - homer, the Brittany spaniel.

Tell us, in a sentence or two, about the project you were focused on while at La Muse.

After a hectic career in corporate life I needed time to consolidate my thoughts and reconnect with my writing brain. No friends, family, facebook, wine bars or daily distractions. It helped me create focus and find my travel writing voice again, ultimately helping me launch my blog and travel articles.

What advice would you give future residents?

It really is quiet. Check the map and go in with your eyes open.

Your three French words to describe La Muse?

C’est chouette, Magnifique…
